How your information is handled

Last updated 26 August 2026

Chris Dahl (NovelaxNeko) is responsible for information submitted through this site. You can make a privacy request through the contact form and identify it as a privacy request.

Information and purpose

The project form collects your name, email address, project details and later messages so I can evaluate, answer and carry out your request. The server stores a keyed, irreversible form of the network address for abuse prevention; it does not store the raw address in the application database. Essential security and request-link data may be stored in your browser.

Security and storage

Customer content is encrypted before it is written to MariaDB. Passwords and recovery codes are stored only as one-way hashes. Operational metadata such as status and timestamps remains readable so the service can work. Encryption keys are kept separately from the database.

Cloudflare Turnstile

This site uses Cloudflare Turnstile in invisible mode to distinguish people from automated abuse. With pre-clearance enabled, Cloudflare may set the essential cf_clearancecookie. Cloudflare processes browser and network signals for this security purpose, not the contents of the form. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

Retention and your choices

Requests are retained while they are being assessed or delivered, and afterwards only as long as needed for documentation or legal obligations. You may ask for access, correction or deletion through the contact form. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
